Golden Hours & La Dolce Vita

A tribute to Italian beauty, ritual, and craftsmanship, reimagined against the golden backdrop of a New Zealand autumn.

There are editorials that simply look beautiful, and then there are editorials that mean something. This autumn shoot - created beneath a vine-covered pergola at Tree Church in the Wairarapa - belongs firmly in the latter category.

The vision belongs to wedding planner and stylist Alice Trinari, whose work aims to honour artistry, cultural identity, and meaningful design. As an Italian creative living abroad, Alice brings a deeply personal lens to everything she touches, and this editorial is no exception.

Drawing inspiration from the rolling landscapes of Tuscany and the emotional poetry of the wedding ritual itself, the shoot is rich with handmade detail and considered beauty. Every element was chosen to evoke a refined, romantic vision of Italian-inspired luxury, and is so clearly reflected in the sculptural florals and the graceful draping of our bried's gown, the intimate altar setting and a glass of celebratory sparkling wine.

The result is a shoot that feels as intentional as it does beautiful. A collaboration between creatives who understand that the most memorable weddings are built not just on aesthetics, but on meaning.
